I came upon this peaceful place while hiking in Cornish, Maine this summer.

I found this image at the Farley Meadow Audobon sanctuary in Hollis NH. I liked the contrast of the dried, gray pods against the spring green grass of the field.

Another color and texture shot. This one captured the feeling of the beautiful spring breeze that was blowing through this lakeside gazebo.

This was taken on a recent trip to VT. I was interested in capturing the various colors and textures, and the incongruity of the bicycle in the snow.

I caught this image on my way to work the morning after a heavy January snow storm. I liked how the snow made the trees into almost black and white sketches against the cloudless blue sky.

This one was shot with the Lumix. I liked the way that these chairs were grouped so casually in relation to the strict gridlines of the patio. Though my time in this space was short, I played around with a couple of quick compositions before deciding on this one.
