This was a fun project for a winter’s night. To create this effect I lit the guitar with a halogen on one side only and then pushed the contrast on the resulting image, applied the “find edges” filter and then super-saturated the result. Cloned out anything that seemed irrelevant–and voila!–a colorful tribute to my Takemine.

We needed a winter-themed home page image for a recent site refresh. However, none of the images on hand worked for the space/time-frame. So, I used two separate model shots and composited them onto the background, taking care to adjust color and lighting as well for a cohesive look.
I loved this building from all angles—but this one was my favorite.
This image was shot quickly in Montreal’s historic district with the Minolta Dimage, and later cropped and retouched for stronger composition.
