Another color and texture shot. This one captured the feeling of the beautiful spring breeze that was blowing through this lakeside gazebo.
This bathroom gained a more spacious and cohesive look on a very small budget. The upper cabinet was lowered to create the illusion of a higher ceiling, and then, along with the vanity, got a few fresh new coats of creamy white gloss paint. These were veneered wood and had seen better days—the paint worked wonders covering up water damage while brightening up this small space. The new wall color references the floor and vanity top, further pulling the space together. A new light fixture is a great update and a towel bar hung with white towels balances the newly painted vanity and cabinet.
This project won us a Silver Medal at the 2009 In-House Forum design awards. My contribution was making sure that the hex codes used to simulate the various leather options in the configurator accurately described the leather colors that the customer would actually receive on their finished shoe/boot. No small task on the web.

This image is a composite. I took one shot of the overall landscape and then (knowing that my wide-angle lens would shrink the moon), a second of just the moon using the zoom. I put them together in Photoshop, and also pushed the colors a bit while I was in there to reproduce the image as I had originally perceived it.
