To create these restaurant wall murals, I worked with an interior design firm, who provided me with stacks of digital photos from these communities, along with elevation and obstruction information (doors, soffits, wall hung items, etc), and general information about each restaurant’s locale. Using these assets and Adobe Photoshop, I produced these colorful, multi-layered composite murals that are custom fit to the restaurant walls—and also custom to the communities that each restaurant serves.
For this 10th Annual festival poster, Larry DeJong drafted off of his original logo design to create a special 10th anniversary logo, and I worked from there to create a poster design that said bluegrass and old-timey but with a fun, modern, funky vibe as well.
2011 Bluegrass on the Bogs Festival Poster: This poster typically debuts in February at a local music convention, and so I designed it to stand out amongst the many other flyers and posters that it would compete with there. Once again, Larry DeJong drafted off of his original logo design to create a special 11th anniversary logo, and I worked from there to create a poster design that would get this festival noticed.
I created this poster while working as a contract temp for Reliant Medical Group in Worcester. I enjoyed both the work and the people that I worked with at Reliant, and was not at all surprised to learn that they are consistently voted a best place to work in the Greater Boston and Worcester area!
The Lincoln Land Conservation Trust’s “Scarecrow 5K” run takes place just a week or so before Halloween, and so they wanted the event posters to reflect the race’s Fall/Halloween theme. Here’s a sampling of poster designs over the last number of years:
